My father, William, entered the dry cleaning industry in 1958. He aspired to open his own store, but like most dry cleaners, he first gained experience by working for others as a presser and a dry cleaning machine operator.

After learning the art of dry cleaning, my father opened Daisy Drive-In Cleaners in 1964. My uncle Bob joined the company in 1970. In 1983, after graduating from Hofstra University, I was invited into the family business and took over after my father retired in 1986.

Today, after more than 56 years of operation, Daisy Drive-in Cleaners remains of service to the Long Island community. We pick up and deliver in Baldwin, South Hempstead, Rockville Centre and portions of Hempstead, Freeport and Roosevelt. Our route service is consistently rated highly by our customers.
